Painted this En Plein Aire, which means on location. The lilies were blooming by the hundreds, and this great white egret was fishing all up and down the shore. It was amazing.

This little fellow got hung up in the birth canal. His mother was torn up, and had to stay in a stall for 4 days. This was his first time out, and I was thrilled to have my camera on hand as he tore around the paddock. He lives next door to me.
